AquaNexus Has Launched

AquaNexus reached public production on Google Play on 5 September 2026. The launch baseline is AquaNexus 1.0.4, following closed testing, real-device validation and final production review. AquaNexus includes a Free plan for up to 5 systems. Keeper and Advanced are optional paid upgrades, and eligible new subscribers can try a paid plan free for 7 days through Google Play.

Current focus

Product Development — Real-User Feedback

The main product stream now follows what production users actually experience. Feedback, support requests, Play Store behaviour and real-world use will determine which improvements move to the front of the queue.

Current Priorities

  • Fix genuine production bugs and confusing workflows quickly
  • Improve screens and interactions that users find slow, unclear or repetitive
  • Improve on-screen refresh after inbound Local Wi-Fi Sync so newly received data appears immediately without requiring a manual refresh
  • Monitor production crashes, ANRs, first opens, active-device trends and update behaviour
  • Continue polishing backup, restore, Master Transfer and multi-device workflows
  • Use aquarium-keeper feedback to decide which features deserve expansion
  • Keep core records dependable before adding unnecessary complexity

Feature requests will be assessed against usefulness, reliability, livestock welfare, privacy and whether they genuinely improve aquarium management rather than simply making the feature list longer.

  • Use original, licensed or appropriately reviewed content.
  • Test changes before promoting them into the production version.
  • Separate user-facing product work from major platform-compliance changes when that reduces release risk.
  • Keep private implementation, security and infrastructure details out of the public roadmap.

Roadmap Notice

This roadmap reflects the current direction of a live product and will change as production feedback, Android requirements and aquarium-keeper needs reveal better priorities.

Planned work is not considered complete until it has passed appropriate development checks, automated testing, build verification and real-device or live-service validation where relevant.

AquaNexus is being developed for long-term reliability. A feature is only useful if aquarium keepers can trust it when they need it.
